Building on the popularity of last year's Ginza and Roppongi-inspired pens, this new series takes usability to the next level with a significant enhancement: a matte finish grip section. The innovative design provides a comfortable, non-slip hold, ensuring an exceptional writing experience. Additionally, the fingerprint-resistant surface keeps the pen looking clean and beautiful, maintaining its pristine appearance over time.
The pens are inspired by the themes of "Ginza" and "Roppongi," which are well-known areas in Japan. Ginza was home to a silver coin mint for the shogunate during the Edo period; "Gin" in Ginza means "silver. In the Meiji era, Ginza became a center of cutting-edge Japanese fashion, and even today, Ginza is an area that exudes glamor, luxury, and prestige.
Roppongi, once a town of samurai residences, was also known for goldfish farming due to abundant underground water. Today, Roppongi is a popular multifaceted area in Tokyo, encompassing downtown, business, and art districts. Sailor Pen's Head Office is even located in the Roppongi area.
