What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
Well made

cartridge/converter fill seems to have become the new and inevitable standard. Makes it feel more like an "update" and less of a replica pen.

Yes, this is an inexpensive pen and I bought it mostly for its "nostalgic" style.

The nib is OK, it doesn't have a lot of flex which makes this pen feel a bit scratchy when writing.

Light and Ready to Write!

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
I put the pen to immediate use when it arrived because we were without power due to a wind storm, and so I wrote the next chapter of the book I'm writing with my new Conklin and a flashlight. The pen was like a plume in my hand, light and ready to write. And write with it I did.

Great. I love the green.

It did take a few paragraphs to break in, but once it got a full nib of ink, it was off and writing like a champ.

A worthwhile purchase.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
So far, I enjoy using this fountain pen. It writes smoothly, and the "Fine" nib size provides me with the crisp clear characters I prefer.

The only drawback I see with this fountain pen is when placing the cap on the end of the pen when writing. It does not seat far down the tube of the pen, making for a "longer" instrument, which throws the balance of the pen off a little.

Very easy to use, easy to fill with either the cartridge or the converter. Other than the minor design flaw mentioned above, it is easy to use.

Yes, definitely. Has a great "retro" look that promotes its style.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item?
This pen is an amazingly beautiful pen for such a reasonable price.

The design is comparable to much more expensive writing instruments made by Conklin.

The ink delivery system via cartridge or converter is easy and straight forward.

This is a true bargain for fountain pen enthusiasts.

This amber beauty belies its humble price which in my opinion makes it rare find.
