Overall Well made cartridge/converter fill seems to have become the new and inevitable standard. Makes it feel more like an "update" and less of a replica pen. Good Yes, this is an inexpensive pen and I bought it mostly for its "nostalgic" style. What is your opinion of the quality of this item? The nib is OK, it doesn't have a lot of flex which makes this pen feel a bit scratchy when writing.

I put the pen to immediate use when it arrived because we were without power due to a wind storm, and so I wrote the next chapter of the book I'm writing with my new Conklin and a flashlight. The pen was like a plume in my hand, light and ready to write. And write with it I did. Great. I love the green. It did take a few paragraphs to break in, but once it got a full nib of ink, it was off and writing like a champ. Yes. What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Excellent pen for the money

So far, I enjoy using this fountain pen. It writes smoothly, and the "Fine" nib size provides me with the crisp clear characters I prefer. The only drawback I see with this fountain pen is when placing the cap on the end of the pen when writing. It does not seat far down the tube of the pen, making for a "longer" instrument, which throws the balance of the pen off a little. Very easy to use, easy to fill with either the cartridge or the converter. Other than the minor design flaw mentioned above, it is easy to use. Yes, definitely. This pen is an amazingly beautiful pen for such a reasonable price. The design is comparable to much more expensive writing instruments made by Conklin. The ink delivery system via cartridge or converter is easy and straight forward. This is a true bargain for fountain pen enthusiasts. What is your opinion of the quality of this item? What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Like all the other Conklin pens I have bought from you in the past, this pen was a real winner. The stub nib is great for signatures. These modern Conklins are larger than the originals, which is just great for my hands. The only problem was the ink cartridges included had leaked in the box - That is a shipping problem and I suspect the shipper had let the shipment freeze. There was a similar problem with the other product shipped with it - "Perfect pen flush"
