What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Pelikan is craftsmanship. Yes, good value. You can't select a nib size for this item. The standard medium nib which it is fitted with produces a bit heavier stroke than what I'm used to. I understand that I can exchange nibs within 14 days of purchase. Haven't decided yet. Comes with a generous bottle of the absolutely brightest blue ink. I was surprised by how small this pen is, definitely a "pocket" fountain pen. However, when capped it feels well balanced, writes smoothly. I was attracted by the somewhat out-of-the-ordinary-yet-classic looking colors and design, the transparent reservoir, etc. This is simply a beautiful little pen.

What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Pelican never disappoints. My favorite soft nib is always on a Pelican; dozens of others fall in line behind. Exactly what I expected; not my first Pelican Easy to hold, easy to fill, delightful to write with... Yes Love it. My birthday present to myself :)
