Beautiful Pen

It is a beautiful pen. I expected that after my recent purchase of another new Pelikan pen. The extra fine nib is much broader than a Japanese extra fine, but I like having lots of different widths to choose from when I write.

I have a few Pelikan 600's and couldn't resist this color. As with every Pelikan 600 I have, the nib is buttery smooth when laying down ink, slightly flexible, but not overly so. Inked it as soon as I unboxed it and it writes perfectly. I am using Diamine Sargasso Sea for the first fill as it's my favorite blue color (at the moment). The pen writes a nice line, not overly wet, not overly dry. There is a little feedback on long strokes, but that is good. I highly recommend this pen if you are a Pelikan fan, and if you are new to the brand, this is a great place to start.
