What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Having never tried a converter in my Waterman fountain pen, I envisioned a mess of ink all over everything, and because my pen is probably 20 years old, I didn't think it would even fit. This converter fits perfectly, and works as described, I never spilled a drop of ink. Now the only time I'll use prefilled cartridges is when traveling. So far it is, yes. Easy to use, no empty ink cartridges to throw away. I think anyone who uses a fountain pen is somewhat old fashioned anyway, and using bottled ink only adds to the attractiveness of the writing experience. This is the first time I've ever used a converter, and it could not be easier.
