What is your opinion of the quality of this item? Excellent quality. Merchant Response The barrel is in two pieces for some reason. There are 54 pieces including the nib holder and the cap. 2 sections are flush like the small Lilliput. The last section is indented slightly. Merchant Response The nib says EF. However it is no where near as fine as the EF on the Kaweco Brass Sport or the smaller Lilliput. I'm using a converter and Pelican Edelstein ink. The other two pens use the Kaweco cartridges. Merchant Response Very well made. Screws together smoothly just like the smaller Lilliput. Weighted, substantial feel. High polish. The engraving is so light and small that it can barely be seen. What is your opinion of the quality of this item? I am a collector of fountain pens. I have Mont Blanc, Waterman Edison, Parker 51, and Cross to name a few. However, out of all of the pens I have I find this pen is a excellent writing instrument. I carry it with me daily to work and use it constantly. It has an excellent weight and smooth writing, and it is inexpensive compared to the other writing instruments I own.
